About the event

Let's  celebrate our Independence Day Hawaiian luau-style  . . . a little  early on July 1st . . . a.k.a Canada Day because what's more American  than that?!?! (Seriously, bring that Canadian flag in here and we will  celebrate you guys too! There's more than enough love in here to  celebrate both countries!)

BEER:

Fourth  of Ju-Luau will be the debut of our next Cider offering (we know, it  has been forever).  This time around we will be doing a Pineapple and  Coconut Cider to give you a tropical treat that is perfect for the event  and the hot summer ahead! We will also be featuring the following tropical treats: ~  Sunsets Wait for No One - Sour Ale with Strawberry, Kumquat, Pink  Guava, Vanilla & Lactose brewed in collaboration with Anecdote  Brewing Co. ~ Alphabet Mafia - Sour Ale with Raspberry & Lemon ~ Existence is Pain - Seltzer with Blue Raspberry & Lemon ~  A Softer Sin Hazy E.M.O. IPA & Keepers of the Five Secrets Triple  Hazy IPA - these two Hazy IPAs pack a tropical, juicy punch that  satisfies your hop cravings as well ~ And, of course, the rest of our  stellar lineup will be flowing as well in case you just wanna enjoy  your favorite beverage in our wacky Fourth of Ju-Luau atmosphere

FOOD:

Our friends at Pig on the Road will be joining in on the fun by offering the following limited menu of Hawaiian-themed dishes: ~ Kalua-style Pork ~ Loco Moco ~ Hawaiian Burger

All of these dishes will be available until gone

TREATS:

Maggie’s  Snow Shoppe will be joining us at noon to serve up some delicious shave  ice! All of their hand-crafted shave ice is made with natural, locally  sourced ingredients (their natural flavors are made with real fruit and  are free of dyes and artificial flavors).  Maggie's Snow Shoppe is sure  to keep all of our young fans happy as well as anyone else just looking  for a sweet, cooling treat during Fourth of Ju-Luau!

CONTESTS:

We  will be running a little contest action during this event and there  will be multiple ways to win gift cards throughout the day (each contest  will depend on participation, 10 entries minimum for award payout):

~  Hawaiian Shirt/Floral Dress - Come in wearing your best Hawaiian shirt,  floral print dress, muumuu, sarong, etc. This contest will go all day.  Just let your bartender know you wanna enter, we will snap a photo,  collect some info and then judge as a team after the event and notify  winners. ~ Hawaiian-themed costume - Do you have a killer Magnum PI  get up? Does your little one think they are Moana or Maui? Get dressed  up and same deal as above (please keep in mind that this is a  family-friendly event all day, so please keep costumes tasteful). This  contest will go all day. Just let your bartender know you wanna enter,  we will snap a photo, collect some info and then judge as a team after  the event and notify winners. ~ Limbo Contest - Do you have some  limbo skills you have been dying to show off? Now is your time to shine.  We will begin the contest at 530 p.m. Limbo contest is at your own  risk, so make sure you stretch first.

MUSIC:

You  can't have a luau in Dade City without Aloha Kev in attendance! Kev is  back to his DJ gigs after a brief hiatus, and we could not be happier to  have him in the house for 4th of Ju-Luau. He will be joining us from 3  pm to 7 pm playing some island tunes and yacht rock jams while also  MCing the Limbo Contest at 530pm.  Make sure you swing by to say hi to  Aloha Kev and welcome him back!

Fourth  of Ju-Luau will be from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 1 and will be  filled with beer, food, and fun contests throughout the day. More details to come soon!
